Network Destinations Alerts
- What are Network Destination alerts
- How Network Destination alerts work
What you are going to learn:
Network Destination alerts notify you when monitored destination IPs change status or experience performance issues. Alerts are sent via email and webhooks based on your organization's notification settings.
Network Destination alerts follow the same notification system as Smart Notifications for Network Monitoring Sessions, Application Performance Monitoring, and Network Device Monitoring.
Requirements:
- Monitoring Agent v2 (1.6.74+) required for Network Destination alerts
Network Destination alerts are triggered when:
- Destination becomes unreachable
- Performance thresholds are exceeded
Email notifications are enabled by default for all users. Individual users can adjust their notification preferences:
- Navigate to Menu → User → Settings
- Go to Notification Settings
- Set Minimum Notification Severity level (Information, Warning, Error, Critical)
- Save changes
Users will only receive notifications for Network Destination events that meet or exceed their minimum severity level.
Network Destination notification emails include:
- Destination name and IP/hostname
- Current status and severity level
- Source agent performing the test
- Timestamp of status change
